The Learning Connection, part of SERRC, is here to help you reach your goals. We offer free education and job training for people just like you in over 40 communities across Alaska. Whether you’re balancing work, family, or other responsibilities, we meet you where you are.
Adult Education: If you’re 16 to 116+ and not enrolled in school, we’re here for you! Get help with GED prep, English, reading, college prep, employability skills, computers and digital literacy, and more. We’re all about your progress, whether it’s building confidence, life skills, or reaching academic goals.
Trades Training: Want a career in a hands-on field? In partnership with UAS, we can help you get certified in healthcare, construction, welding, mining, commercial driving, and more! We’ve got your back with tuition support, training supplies, tutoring, and everything you need to succeed.
JobX (WIOA Youth Program): If you’re 16-24 and out of school, we’re here to help you succeed. Whether you’re aiming for a diploma, postsecondary training, work experience, or job-ready skills, we’ll tailor our support to fit your goals.
MASST: If you’re 55 or older, the Mature Alaskans Seeking Skills Training (or SCSEP) is here for you! Get the experience, skills, and training you need to re-enter the workforce or update your skills.
