Adulting doesn't have to be hard.

"Adulting" can be hard, especially when you're young. JobX works with eligible youth to set and achieve individual goals like earning a GED, high school diploma, career certifications (welding, construction, CNA and more), driver license, paid internships and employment. JobX also provides career guidance, incentives and pays for supports to help you prepare and successfully meet your goals.

JobX helps out-of-school youth, ages 16-24, to:
  • Find and keep a job

Learn job search skills, how to apply and interview for jobs, and how to be a good employee, with skills like punctuality, time management and communication.

  • Return to school to earn a diploma or pass the GED

JobX offers guidance and assistance with returning to school or beginning adult education to earn a high school diploma or to pass the GED exams.

  • Develop a career plan and employment goals

Explore career options and opportunities and set goals that make sense for you now and into the future.

  • Explore training and further education opportunities

With a high school diploma or GED, there are so many options for training and education that can open up opportunities for better-paying and stable jobs and careers.

  • Gain job skills through PAID internships

Get real world experience while you learn and get paid.
